The Tectonix team had also completed structural design of numerous residential houses that adopted cold-formed steel wall and roof framing instead of the typical timber framing. Many of these projects are in collaboration with cold-form steel manufacturers and require close coordination during the design stage, manufacturing stage, and construction stage. The team had also developed specialized calculation tools for cold-formed steel design, making the whole design and coordination process more efficient.
